Let your merciful ears, Lord God, be open to the prayers of your people; and so that they may obtain their petitions, make them to ask such things as will please you; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

| From the Passage | Heavenly Father, Thank You that You do not leave us to be tossed about like windchimes by every changing breeze of our culture. Forgive us for the subtle ways we allow our worth, security, or identity to be shaped by academic achievement, career status, relationships, or comfortable living rather than by You. Thank You for Your incredible promises—that You live in us, walk with us, and call us Your beloved sons and daughters. Help us to rest so deeply in our identity in Christ that the pull to compromise or yoke ourselves to worldly idols loses its power. Lord, grant us the grace and wisdom to stand faithfully in our daily lives while remaining whole-heartedly set apart for You. Give us pure motives, clean hands, and the courage to walk in honest community with other believers. May our lives bring You joy and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |

| Mission Partners | High school scripture & Chaplaincy General info: General info: Semi works as a high school scripture teacher in the George’s River area. He attends three schools as part of his work as he teaches lessons and runs lunchtime groups. Heavenly Father, We come before You today lifting up Semi and the vital ministry they carry into our local schools. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will go before them into every classroom, softening the hearts of the students. Open their minds to understand, grant them faith to believe, and give them courage to respond to the good news of the Gospel. We ask for Your favor and grace as our teachers build relationships. Grant them healthy, trusting, and supportive partnerships with school principals, teachers, administrative staff, parents, and local churches. May these connections foster an environment where Your truth can be shared with wisdom and respect. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection and strength over our teachers, the students, and the entire school community. Protect them physically, emotionally, and spiritually against distraction, weariness, or harm. Renew their energy and fill them with Your peace each day. May the precious seeds planted during every SRE lesson take deep root in young lives. We pray that these seeds will produce lasting spiritual fruit—transforming not only these students, but reaching into their families and shaping generations to come. Finally, we pray for the local churches that support this SRE work. United under Your name, help us to serve together with humility, love, and singleness of heart for the sake of the Gospel. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. |
| Church Ministries | English Congregation Heavenly Father, We pray for our English congregations at St George’s. That our heart’s desire is clear: we want to know You, the one true God, and to make You known. Stir within us a genuine passion for Jesus. Give us the courage and love to share the good news with our family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. Soften our hearts for those who do not yet know Your goodness. We lift up our Praise and Worship night on September 5th. Prepare our hearts, Lord. For everyone who walks through the doors, anchor this truth deep in their souls: that in Christ, we are fully seen, known, and never rejected. We pray especially for those coming who do not yet know who You truly are. May Your love and grace break through any fear or isolation, showing them Your welcoming heart and tender mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |
