From the Passage	Heavenly Father, All true honour, wisdom, and strength belong to You alone. Jesus has shown us what true glory, power, and wisdom are. Forgive us for how much we love to show off. We’re sorry for our pride. We brag about our marks, our jobs, our achievements, and our efforts just to look impressive. We know that no amount of bragging will earn people’s true love and approval. We are so easily impressed by things that aren’t truly impressive, and we exhaust ourselves trying to get noticed by people who don’t really care about us. Forgive us, and protect us from our own foolishness. Thank You for the Lord Jesus, who has shown us true wisdom, power, and glory. Thank You that we don’t have to earn Your love and approval, nor do we have to maintain Your love through our achievements. Please teach us Your wisdom. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Mission Partners	High school scripture & chaplaincy General info: Semi works as a high school scripture teacher in the George’s River area. He attends three schools as part of his work as he teaches lessons and runs lunchtime groups. Heavenly Father, We come before You today lifting up Semi and the vital ministry they carry into our local schools. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will go before them into every classroom, softening the hearts of the students. Open their minds to understand, grant them faith to believe, and give them courage to respond to the good news of the Gospel. We ask for Your favor and grace as our teachers build relationships. Grant them healthy, trusting, and supportive partnerships with school principals, teachers, administrative staff, parents, and local churches. May these connections foster an environment where Your truth can be shared with wisdom and respect. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection and strength over our teachers, the students, and the entire school community. Protect them physically, emotionally, and spiritually against distraction, weariness, or harm. Renew their energy and fill them with Your peace each day. May the precious seeds planted during every SRE lesson take deep root in young lives. We pray that these seeds will produce lasting spiritual fruit—transforming not only these students, but reaching into their families and shaping generations to come. Finally, we pray for the local churches that support this SRE work. United under Your name, help us to serve together with humility, love, and singleness of heart for the sake of the Gospel. Church Ministries	Discipleship groups Heavenly Father, We thank you so much for our Discipleship groups and for the gift of meeting together. Thank you for providing these spaces this year as places of growth, where we could dive deep into the truths of 2 Corinthians and learn directly from your Word. Lord, we ask that you continue to open our hearts to the transformation you desire for us. Teach us to respond fully to your calling in every area of our lives—especially in our generosity. Give us grace to give freely, love sacrificially, and live as humble followers and leaders who model Christ, rejecting pride and boastfulness. We pray that our Discipleship groups will always be a haven for those seeking genuine rest, hope, and community. May anyone who enters these spaces find a warm, welcoming family willing to love, support, and bear standard burdens together. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Special Items & Events	Prayer of Generosity Heavenly Father, Father of mercies and God of all comfort, We come before You with hearts full of thanksgiving. We praise You that though our Lord Jesus Christ was rich, yet for our sake He became poor, so that through His poverty we might become rich. Thank You for Your surpassing grace, and for entrusting us with the ministry of reconciliation in our church and community. Lord, You know our current circumstances. You see the unexpected trials and costs our fellowship has weathered, and You see the shortfall in our budget. Yet we know that when we are weak, You are strong, and Your grace is sufficient for us. You are the God who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food. We bring this financial need honestly to Your feet, asking that You provide all that is required for the Gospel work to flourish. We pray especially for our leaders and decision-makers. Grant them godly wisdom, vigilance, and sound judgment as they steward the common resources entrusted to this church. Give them clarity in prioritising the ministry of the Gospel, courage to make prudent decisions, and the grace to manage these gifts with complete transparency and integrity—taking care to do what is right not only in Your eyes, but also in the sight of all people. Awaken all our hearts to see our giving as an act of joyful discipleship. Forgive us where we have held back out of hesitation or fear. Let us give not reluctantly or under compulsion, but as those compelled by the love of Christ. May our sacrificial generosity meet every need and overflow in many thanksgivings to You. We entrust our leaders, our resources, and our future into Your faithful hands. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
