From the Passage	​Most gracious God, Father and Fountain of mercy, who has blessed us with the knowledge of our true happiness and the way that leads to it. We confess that we have often wandered, contenting ourselves with the “vain shadows” of religion and using your holy Word to justify our own selfish ends rather than to know you. We thank you that you sent your Son to dwell among us, not only to be our sacrifice but to be the “perfect pattern” of what we are meant to be. We pray that he would be truly “formed within us,” so that we are saved not just from judgment, but for righteousness. Save us from the joyless burden of legalism and the empty license of cheap grace. Possess our hearts with a “holy disdain” for the poor enjoyments of this world, and fill us with an “ardent love” for you. May this love enlarge our hearts toward all mankind, that we may love our neighbors—even our enemies—sincerely for your sake. Grant that the consideration of who you are, and what we are, would humble us and stir up in us an “unmixed joy and an unbounded love”. Guide us with your counsel, and afterward receive us into glory, through the merits of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Church Ministries	Evangelism Teams Gracious Lord, we thank You for giving us opportunities to proclaim Your name to those who are lost and far from You. As Easter approaches, help us to see the people You have placed before us, and grant us courage and wisdom to share the gospel clearly with gentleness and truth. Lord, we especially commit our Good Friday and Easter services into Your hands. Please prepare the heart of every participant, especially newcomers, that they may receive the good news of Jesus Christ. Strengthen and unite our evangelism team, that we may serve You with one heart in all our preparation, invitations, and outreach. Help us not to rely on ourselves, but on the power of the Holy Spirit, as we faithfully sow the seeds of the gospel. May our words and our lives bear witness to Your love and truth, drawing people to know You and to experience the power of Your salvation this Easter.
Groups in Church	Cantonese Congregation Heavenly Father, we thank You for leading our Cantonese congregation. As we enter this new year, You call us to know You more deeply as the one true God and to bear witness to You in our lives. Open our hearts, so that we may not only know You intellectually, but truly experience Your presence and live it out in our daily lives. As Easter approaches, help us to reflect more deeply on the cross and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. May we be renewed by the gospel, living out the life You have given us as faithful witnesses. Enable us to see the people You have placed before us and to proclaim Christ with love and courage. Strengthen and unite our ministry teams. In every challenge, teach us to rely on You and to serve together in the power of the Holy Spirit, so that all we do may reflect the love and truth of Christ. May our church in this generation be a community that knows You and makes You known, so that through us, others may see Christ and receive the hope and new life that come from You alone.
