Lord, we pray, absolve your from their offences; that through your bountiful goodness we may be set free from the chains of those sins which in our frailty we have committed: grant this, heavenly Father, for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

From the Passage	Heavenly Father, we come before You with a necessary confession. We acknowledge that we constantly live under spiritual warfare, and we repeatedly fall for the devil’s schemes, allowing his taunts—like Sennacherib’s psychological attacks—to undermine our belief in Your goodness and truth. We confess that we are too quick to doubt Your promises and seek false security in the world’s lies. We look to the model of King Hezekiah who laid the letter of the taunt before You, but we thank You that his faith was merely a pointer to the perfect reality we find in Your Son. Thank You, Lord, that Jesus is perfect and obedient, who conquered every temptation and secured eternal victory for us. We praise You that His flawless obedience is credited to our account, enabling and empowering us to live fully for Your glory by the Spirit’s power. Lord our God, in our world that heckles and taunts Your holy name and rages against Your Anointed King, grant us the grace to stand firm. Help us to continue to love, be gentle, and respond with dignity, knowing that Your word is the final word. We pray for the spiritual sight to see past the world’s temporary arrogance, knowing You will bring all those who mock to account. Deliver us, O God, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You alone are God, and Jesus Christ is Lord. Amen

Mission Partners	Hoi-Yan Shea in Japan General information: Hoi-Yan is a missionary who works with OMF (Overseas Missionary Fellowship) in Japan. The prayer points relate to her prayer update she sent in August. For Mizuyo: Hoi-Yan has been ministering to Mizuyo, a new believer, who is starting to see God created all things rather than God being part of creation. - Praise God for the opportunity to share the creation story with Mizuyo and for her willingness to listen. - Praise God that Mizuyo is beginning to understand that God made everything and that the world was made for him. - Pray that God will continue to open Mizuyo’s mind and heart to the Bible stories. - Pray for Mizuyo’s salvation and that she will come to know Jesus personally. For the Kids’ Bible Camp: At kid’s Bible camp Hoi-Yan experienced an illness on the first day but received prayer; subsequently got healed while providing a powerful testimony to the children, that God hears and answers prayers, and leading one child to exclaim that “Jesus was amazing.” - Praise God for healing the leader during the camp, turning an untimely illness into a testimony of his power. - Praise God for Azuki’s testimony, showing that he hears and answers prayers. - Pray for the salvation of all the children who attended the camp, especially those from non-Christian homes. For the Ministry Team: One of the challenges that Hoi-Yan is facing as a member of the Yahabible Network team is navigating a period of change; she is seeking prayer for her colleagues and for the overall strategy of their ministry as they seek a fresh direction in their mission to share God’s word with non-Christians. - Pray for wisdom and guidance as the team reconsiders their strategy and future direction. - Pray for opportunities for each team member to share God’s word with their non-Christian friends. - Pray for a fresh vision and clear direction for the Yahabible Network.
Church Ministries	SRE SRE: Praise God for the year of Scripture classes at Hurstville Public School and for the SRE teachers who faithfully teach and model Christ’s love to the students and staff of the school. Thank God for the recent opportunity to meet and speak with parents of next year’s kindy kids. Praise God also for the Christmas assembly with a fun and clear presentation of the gospel from the Quizworx team. Pray that kids and families would be curious and seek out and connect with their local churches in the upcoming Christmas season and holidays. May God continue to bless SRE ministries in NSW public schools.
