Collect

Almighty God, you have given your only Son to be for us both a sacrifice for sin and also an example of godly life; give us grace that we may always thankfully receive the immeasurable benefit of his sacrifice, and also daily endeavour to follow in the blessed steps of his most holy life; who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for evermore.

Amen.

Projects (Anglican aid & Anglicare)
Heavenly Father, we lift up the people of Lebanon who have been displaced by conflict. Bring them protection, provision, and peace in their uncertainty. Bless the work of ARDFA, that aid may reach those in need. May Your comfort and hope be known among them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Church Ministries Discipleship groups

Heavenly Father, we thank You for our disciple groups and leaders. As they take a break this school holiday, grant them true rest and refreshment. Renew their strength, deepen their love for You, and prepare them to serve with joy again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Groups in Church Volunteers Lord, we lift every church volunteer at St. George’s Hurstville Anglican into Your hands. You know their hard work, their time, and their dedication. Bless them for every effort they make in Your family. Strengthen them where they feel weak and encourage them when they feel discouraged. Let their service be an offering to You. May they always find joy in serving in Your kingdom and never lose heart.
