Looking Ahead: The Discover Course
If we want to be a church that makes Jesus known, we must be a people who are willing to invite. One of our key moments in Term 2 to live this out is the Discover Course.
The Discover Course is a 5-week video-based journey where we explore the truth about Jesus. It is specifically designed as a safe, low-pressure space for skeptics and seekers to ask the big questions: Who is Jesus? and What did He come to do?
- Starts: Sunday, 26th of April
- Time: 5:30 PM (following the 4:00 PM service)
- Location: St George’s
New to the Family? Join “The Bridge”
If you’ve recently moved into the area or have started making this your home church after moving from another congregation, we’d love to officially welcome you.
We know that transitioning to a new church can feel a bit like being the “new kid at school,” even if you’ve been a Christian for years. The Bridge is a casual, short-term group designed specifically for you to get to know our Senior Minister, hear the heart and vision of our church, and connect with others who are also new to the pews.
- When: Friday evenings at 6:00 PM
- Where: Meet at the church foyer
- The Plan: We’ll gather briefly, then head out to a local restaurant for dinner together.
- Duration: We’ll have you wrapped up and ready for your weekend by 7:30 PM.
Before you jump into a permanent small group, come spend a few Friday nights with us. It’s the easiest way to move from “visiting” to “belonging.”
Fridge Policy: Keeping Our Community Clean
To ensure our shared kitchen remains a welcoming and hygienic space for everyone, please follow these three simple rules if you are using one of our church fridges.
1. LABEL IT
Name, Ministry, and Date on everything. If it’s in the fridge, it needs a tag. Please clearly mark who it belongs to, which team you are with, and when it was put inside.
2. SHARE IT
Short-term use only. Take leftovers home today. This is a high-traffic space! Please use the fridge for daily needs only. Ensure all leftovers are taken home at the end of your shift or event.
3. RESET IT
Unlabeled or expired items will be discarded without notice. To keep things fresh and organized, any items found without a label or past their prime will be cleared out immediately.
