New Bible Series: ‘Open Hearts’
The Radical Call of 2 Corinthians 6–13
“We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians; our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your own affections. In return… widen your hearts also.”
— 2 Corinthians 6:11-13
How easy is it to keep our guard up—with each other, and even with God? Starting next Sunday and running throughout Term 3, we are diving into a new teaching series through the latter half of Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians. In this series, we will explore Paul’s raw, vulnerable appeal to the church. Just as he poured out his life to them, he asks them to receive his message with that same open-hearted trust. Over the coming weeks, our hope is that we will lay down our defenses, open our hearts to God and his message, and allow our lives to be fully transformed by the radical grace of the gospel.
Join us next Sunday as we begin this journey together!
📢 Compassion Sunday | Sunday, August 2nd
Next Sunday, we are excited to welcome our friends from Compassion! Compassion is an organization that partners with local churches to help release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. Over the years, our church family has sponsored over 60 children through this partnership.
Please take time in prayer this coming week to consider whether God might be leading you or your family to sponsor a child next Sunday.
🧹 Church Working Bee | Saturday, August 1st (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Join us this Saturday as we care for our church home! We have a few key spaces on site that need a good clean. Good stewardship of our facility ensures our church remains a welcoming space for effective ministry.
Any amount of time you can give is a huge help. Please sign your name and availability on the clipboard that will be handed around after the service.
🗺️ New Site Signage & Renamed Spaces

Please keep an eye out for these new signs as they go up!

New to the Family? Join “The Bridge”
If you’ve recently moved into the area or have started making this your home church after moving from another congregation, we’d love to officially welcome you.
We know that transitioning to a new church can feel a bit like being the “new kid at school,” even if you’ve been a Christian for years. The Bridge is a casual, short-term group designed specifically for you to get to know our Senior Minister, hear the heart and vision of our church, and connect with others who are also new to the pews.
- When: Friday evenings at 6:00 PM
- Where: Meet at the church foyer
- The Plan: We’ll gather briefly, then head out to a local restaurant for dinner together.
- Duration: We’ll have you wrapped up and ready for your weekend by 7:30 PM.
Before you jump into a permanent small group, come spend a few Friday nights with us. It’s the easiest way to move from “visiting” to “belonging.”
