Easter Weekend: To Know the One True God and to Make Him Known

This Easter, we invite you to join the English Congregation as we live out our church vision through the lens of the cross and the empty tomb.

Good Friday: To Know Him

We gather to reflect on the depth of God’s love through the cross.
- Theme: Knowing His Sacrifice (Matthew 27:32-54)
- Time: 9:30 AM
- Location: The Chapel

Easter Sunday: To Make Him Known

We celebrate the resurrection and our mission to share the Good News.
- Theme: Making Him Known (Matthew 28)
- Morning: 9:30 AM at Hurstville Public School
- Afternoon: 4:00 PM in The Chapel

Looking Ahead: The Discover Course

If we want to be a church that makes Jesus known, we must be a people who are willing to invite. One of our key moments in Term 2 to live this out is the Discover Course.

The Discover Course is a 5-week video-based journey where we explore the truth about Jesus. It is specifically designed as a safe, low-pressure space for skeptics and seekers to ask the big questions: Who is Jesus? and What did He come to do?

- Starts: Sunday, 26th of April
- Time: 5:30 PM (following the 4:00 PM service)
- Location: St George’s

Who are you praying for? As we move toward Term 2, start thinking now about who you might invite to “Discover” the truth about Jesus with you.

Mission Round Table Update: Shaping Our Future Together

Two weeks ago, a group from our 9:30 AM service met for a Mission Round Table discussion. Our focus was simple: how can we make our gatherings more accessible and welcoming for those who don’t yet know Jesus?
We’ve identified a few areas in our current Sunday rhythms and are looking at some exciting ways to remove these barriers—from creating a warmer atmosphere in the hall to simplifying how we support families with children.

Because these shifts involve our whole community, we’d love to sit down with you again in two weeks’ time after the service. This will be a chance for you to hear more about the vision, ask questions, and buy into the plans we have for Term 2.

Thank You for a Wonderful Vision Sunday Combined Service!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for last week’s combined service! We are especially grateful to all our hardworking volunteers who put in the effort behind the scenes for setup, serving, and packing down to make the day possible. We are also thrilled to share that, thanks to your generosity, we raised $680 through the fellowship lunch! Thank you for making it such a beautiful time of worship and community.

Church Working Bee: Easter Preparation

Let’s work together to prepare our church home for the upcoming Easter week! We are hosting a Church Working Bee on Saturday, March 28th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Our goal is to tidy up the building and grounds so we can provide a welcoming environment for our Easter guests and services.
Whether you are handy with a broomstick, great at gardening, or a master of organization, there is a job for everyone. Please bring your own gloves and any basic cleaning or gardening tools if you have them. Many hands make light work!

New to the Family? Join “The Bridge”

If you’ve recently moved into the area or have started making this your home church after moving from another congregation, we’d love to officially welcome you.

We know that transitioning to a new church can feel a bit like being the “new kid at school,” even if you’ve been a Christian for years. The Bridge is a casual, short-term group designed specifically for you to get to know our Senior Minister, hear the heart and vision of our church, and connect with others who are also new to the pews.

Before you jump into a permanent small group, come spend a few Friday nights with us. It’s the easiest way to move from “visiting” to “belonging.”
