We’re excited to discuss the mission and logistics of our upcoming church move! From the start of July, we’ll be holding our services at Hurstville Public School. This meeting is a wonderful opportunity to hear all the details, ask questions, and contribute as we embark on this new chapter together. Everyone is welcome! We’ll also have a G-rated movie for children so that both parents are able to attend.

Lost Property Box: - We now have a Lost Property Box near the church inner lawn. If you’ve misplaced something recently, please check the box. Items will be kept for two weeks. New Church Gardening Ministry — Serve God Through Creation Care God’s creation sings His praise (Psalm 96:12) — and we’re invited to join in! Our new Gardening Ministry is an opportunity to:
- Worship God through caring for His creation
- Share His love by making our church grounds beautiful and welcoming
- Build community by serving together
We’ll be working on projects such as:
- Planting new flowers and garden beds
- Improving pathways
- Seasonal beautification initiatives
This ministry is focused on creative, joyful service — no routine mowing or weeding. First Workday: Saturday, 14 June 2025 at 9:00am Contact: Brian Tung | brian.tung@stgeorgeshurstville.org.au “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” – Psalm 150:6
- Vision 2025: Our vision for 2025 is the ‘shine for Jesus, everywhere, anytime.’ We would love for you to take a few minutes to complete the Shine survey to help give us a picture of where we are as a church here.
Term 2 - Sermon Series
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” - Mark 10:45
For our next sermon series as a church we will be exploring “The Heart of Service,” For 6-week we’ll be delving into the profound meaning of serving God and one another. Just as our Lord Jesus exemplified in His own life and ministry, our drive to serve stems directly from His selfless service to us.
We will unpack the multifaceted ways we can live out this calling within our church and beyond (as detailed in the graphics). Join us as we discover how to cultivate a heart of service, reflecting the very heart of Christ, and experience the transformative power of living a life dedicated to serving God through serving others.
